Since then, fans have often wondered when she might return to Hollywood’s most glamorous evening. Her presence has always brought elegance and excitement to the red carpet, making every appearance feel like a special occasion.

Nicole Kidman is ready to take the 2026 Oscars by storm.

The actress and presenter, 58, has been absent from the star-studded awards show in recent years, but her comeback was fashionable and ultra-glam on Sunday, March 15.

For her big night out, the Babygirl star wore a peachy pink Chanel ensemble complete with a strapless peplum bodice and floor-length skirt. Both the top and the bottom of her ensemble boasted feather embellishments. She wore her hair in an effortlessly waved style with BELLAMI extensions, crafted by Adir Abergel.

This year’s ceremony marks the first time Kidman has attended since 2023. That year, she attended with Keith Urban.

In September 2025, Kidman officially filed for divorce from the country star, just three months after their 19th wedding anniversary. The former couple share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.

In her recent interview with Variety, she spoke out about the split for the first time after she was asked if she was “doing all right” following their separation.

“I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she responde

“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that,” Kidman added. “Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.” 

A source told PEOPLE exclusively that Kidman isn’t looking to focus on her dating life just yet. “Nicole’s not rushing into dating,” a source close to the star revealed. “She’s in a really good place now.”

Since the split, the insider added, “things have settled down,” continuing, “She’s focused on the things that make her happy, like family and work.”

While Kidman continues to keep her sights set on her kids and upcoming projects, including Practical Magic 2 and Margo’s Got Money Troubles, the source said she’s “had conversations with close friends, though, about dating.”

Such conversations are “lighthearted,” they added. “She doesn’t feel any pressure. But when she’s ready she will rely on her close circle to make introductions. She’s not someone who would jump into anything randomly.”
