Alan Jackson Takes The Stage One Last Time

Alan Jackson has built an extraordinary career, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of the most influential artists in country music.

The singer has achieved more than 35 No. 1 hits and dozens of additional Top 10 singles, including signature songs such as “Chattahoochee,” “Remember When,” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.” Jackson has sold tens of millions of records worldwide and remains one of the best-selling country artists of all time.

Fans were devastated when Jackson first revealed in 2021 that he had been diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), an incurable, degenerative nerve condition that affects the peripheral nerves. In an interview with TODAY, Jackson explained that the condition impacts his balance while performing and leaves him feeling generally “uncomfortable” at times.

Following his diagnosis, Jackson launched his multi-year “Last Call” farewell tour, giving fans one final chance to see him perform live. The tour officially came to an end on May 17, 2025, with a final show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

His final show, ever, was later announced to take place on June 27th at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

Why Is Alan Jackson Retiring From Touring? Everything to Know

Alongside Jackson himself, the special event featured an all-star lineup of artists coming together to honor his legendary career. Fans at the sold-out concert were treated to performances from George Strait, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, and many more.

Primary tickets for “The Finale” sold out almost immediately when they went on sale in October 2025. According to reports, all roughly 55,000 seats were gone during the presale phase alone, with demand so intense that tickets disappeared before the general public sale even began.

To bring his career to an end, Alan Jackson closed out his farewell concert with his iconic 2001 hit, “Where I Come From.”

“Where I Come From” became a major success for Jackson, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in late 2001, marking Jackson’s 18th career chart-topper.
