Alan Jackson’s farewell may have ended on stage, but one final chapter is still waiting to be heard as the country legend prepares to release a live album capturing the emotion, memories, and unforgettable moments from his historic farewell concert. For fans who thought they had already experienced the last goodbye, this upcoming release offers a chance to revisit the songs, the atmosphere, and the night that marked the end of an extraordinary touring career from a whole new perspective. Sometimes the final concert isn’t really the end it becomes the beginning of the performance fans return to for years to come.

Alan Jackson‘s last concert was recorded for a future live album, immortalizing the extraordinary night.

Following his diagnosis with the degenerative nerve condition Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, Jackson made the decision to retire from touring. The condition affects Jackson’s balance and mobility, making it increasingly more challenging for him to maintain an active touring schedule.

After a multi-year farewell tour, Jackson performed at his final concert on Saturday, June 27th. The concert was held at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, the same venue that hosted the headlining shows for CMA Fest just a few weeks prior.

The show opened with tributes from other artists, including Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, and Lainey Wilson. They each took turns singing one of Jackson’s songs before he appeared onstage later in the night.

After a weather delay, Jackson entertained the crowd with many of his signature songs, including “Remember When,” “Chattahoochee,” and “Where I Come From.” George Strait also joined him for two duets, singing “Designated Drinker” and “Murder on Music Row.”

Roughly 70,000 people attended Alan Jackson’s last show. In a few months, thousands more will be able to enjoy its performances on an official live concert album.

The official store for MCA confirms that Alan Jackson – Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale is now available to pre-order on CD. The album is described as one that:

“…captures an unforgettable evening celebrating the songs, stories and unmistakable voice that have defined generations of country music fans.”

The album will cost $14.98, and the limit is four CDs per customer. However, you will have to wait a little while to receive the album, since the listing currently states it “ships on” December 31, 2026.

At least that means you’ll get to kickstart the New Year with the album!
