True crime fans have struggled to make it through an “insane” documentary series that they have dubbed one of the most “disturbing” ever.
Born Evil: The Serial Killer and the Saviour is a five part true crime documentary series that delves into the disturbing crimes of a little known serial killer.
First released in America in 2024 on Investigation Discovery, the series explores the life of American killer Hadden Clark who was convicted of killing multiple people including a six year old.
It also plunges viewers into his dark behaviour in prison as many horrific truths are uncovered, as viewers say it is filled with plenty of twists and turns.

Available to watch on Now TV and HBO Max in the UK, a synopsis reads: “The volatile Clark family’s inner workings, Hadden’s depraved path, and his shocking confessions to a cellmate spur investigators to probe alleged cold case links.”
Taking to TikTok, one true crime fan has only just discovered the disturbing watch as they said in a video: “This is hands down the most disturbing true crime documentary series that I have ever seen and I have seen a lot.”
Telling viewers it is about the “most disturbing and dangerous serial killer that you have probably never even heard of”, the true crime fan later said: “I can’t tell you how many twists and turns this documentary takes.”
One person commented: “This was insane”, as another replied: “I have watched every true crime documentary going but after 3 minutes I had to turn this off it was so creepy.”

Over on IMDb, one reviewer previously said: “Everyone in my true crime groups are raving about the series as well. Many of us binged the whole 5 episodes already.”
Another wrote: “It takes the first episode and into the second before you can’t stop watching. Once the killers are introduced you may as well get the popcorn and settle in for a binge night.”
A third admitted: “FINALLY! Finally a different directing style for a true crime show.! I watch so many and so many are the same and same criminals with no new information.
“This is a serial killer who I was not familiar with and much deeper dive into the family of the criminal.”
