Ella Langley experienced a wardrobe malfunction in the middle of her direct support set for Morgan Wallen at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium, but she handled the unexpected moment like the professional she is.
During her performance, Langley realized her dress had started to come undone while performing in the pouring rain.
“It’s raining, I’m pretty sure half of my dress somehow has already come unzipped,” she joked from the stage.
A member of her team quickly came to the rescue, bringing her a Baltimore Ravens jersey that she slipped over her dress on stage before continuing the show without missing a beat.
Later, Langley took to social media to share the story with fans, writing:
“Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped on song #2 in a 60 minute set in the pouring down rain in a stadium full of people.”
She soundtracked the post with “Wonderful” by Stone Temple Pilots, embracing the chaotic (but unforgettable!) concert moment.
She later added, “S/O (shoutout) to the Revans for saving the day!”
Langley’s performance at M&T Bank Stadium comes as she continues to make history on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This week her song “Choosin’ Texas” claimed its 14th week atop the chart, joining Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” as the non-holiday songs with the most weeks at No. 1 by women with no male-billed acts.
“14?! This is insaaaane,” she shared on socials upon learning the news.
Langley’s time on the road with Morgan Wallen will come to an end after one final stadium date at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on August 1.
However, she won’t be slowing down anytime soon. Her Dandelion Tour continues full speed ahead with dates scheduled through the end of October. The Alabama native recently announced 21 additional dates for the sold-out trek, including stops at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and two nights at Los Angeles’ famed Greek Theatre.
Langley will officially wrap up the tour on October 31 with her final show in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Her upcoming dates will feature support from a rotation of rising acts and hitmakers including ERNEST, Kameron Marlowe, Gabriella Rose and Laci Kaye Booth.
