Kelly Clarkson’s 8-Year-Old Son Walked Onto Her Stage With One Very Grown-Up Request — Then His Fearless Frank Sinatra Performance Showed Everyone Just How Comfortable He Already Is In Front Of A Crowd

Kelly Clarkson's Son, Remy, Performs Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' On Her Show

The cozy studio stage at The Kelly Clarkson Show welcomed a new singer in 2025, and one far younger than the usual singers who share their voices on the show. Kelly introduced her son, eight-year-old Remy, to the stage after he asked to perform his favorite song on the show. The first surprise was the song he chose – Frank Sinatra’s classic ‘My Way’, revealing musical tastes beyond his years. The second surprise was the confidence with which the young singer performed in front of the audience.

Many of our Music Man readers who perform themselves are sure to remember the nerves that gripped them when they first took to the stage. Despite Remy sharing that his nerves were about “50/50,” he amazed viewers with his confidence and ease as he sang. Not only that, but he has clearly inherited his mother’s powerful voice, hinting at a growing talent. The video received almost 500k views in only two weeks, with the original video of his performance receiving over 1.5M views.

While any mother would be proud of their child getting up onstage to sing, this moment holds extra significance for Kelly, not just because of her own musical background, but due to Remy’s struggles with communication early in life. Kelly has previously shared that Remy suffered from a hearing problem as a youngster that set his speech back almost nine months. To see him singing in front of an audience and then interviewing him herself on national television must have been profoundly moving.

While this may have been Remy’s first solo performance, it wasn’t the first time he had been onstage to sing. In 2023, both Remy and his sister, River Rose, joined Kelly onstage at one of her concerts to sing her hit ‘Heartbeat Song.’ Once again, the youngsters seemed to be completely at ease in front of the crowd, singing and dancing next to their mother. It will be hard for any Music Man fan not to have their heart warmed by the love displayed by the family as they performed together.

It is not uncommon for children of artists to follow in their parents’ footsteps. However, with Remy’s already budding performance skills, along with River Rose’s interest in songwriting, these two may be following their own musical paths sooner than anyone thought! One thing is for certain – with an enthusiastic, talented, and loving mother like Kelly on their side, they are sure to be supported in following their dreams, no matter what they may turn out to be.

Remy’s sensational debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show has left audiences in awe, showcasing a talent well beyond his years. His impressive performance, coupled with his personal journey, makes his story all the more inspiring. With a voice reminiscent of his mother’s and a charming stage presence, Remy is undoubtedly a name to remember.

A major update has emerged for a “first of its kind” detective series connected to Christie’s legendary world, and the unusual direction is already dividing crime-drama fans. That tension could become part of the show’s biggest attraction. Christie’s stories have been reinvented countless times—but stepping somewhere genuinely new means this series has considerably more to prove when the investigation finally begins.

Three Books, A Few Simple Measurements… And One Tiny Detail Turns The 1% Club Puzzle Into A Brilliant Trap. Each cookery book contains 5cm of pages with 5mm covers, so calculating the distance between the first page of Volume One and the last page of Volume Three seems like basic addition. That assumption is exactly where things go wrong. The puzzle isn’t really testing your arithmetic. It’s testing whether you can correctly picture where those two pages actually sit on the bookshelf. Miss that detail and 18cm feels completely convincing. Spot it, and the whole calculation changes.
