What happens when one of the most affluent couples in Britain files for divorce? That’s the premise of Sky’s upcoming legal drama War. The series follows British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and international film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller) as they decide to end their marriage – leading to “the biggest divorce trial in British legal history”.

And judging by the series’ new trailer, it looks as explosive as it sounds.

As divorce proceedings and a battle of wills begins, two high-profile law firms go to war – both assuring their respective clients that they’re “the wronged party” in the split. In the trailer, Carla tells her team she has “no idea who I’ve been married to”, adding with a curt smile: “Let’s take him for every penny he’s got… and he’s got quite a few.”

What is War about?

Told over eight episodes, the series will delve into the high-stakes lives of London’s most powerful lawyers. Think Suits, but in the UK.

As rival law firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne clash over the headline-grabbing legal battle, ambitious young lawyer Johnny Warren (Archie Renaux) is drawn into a ruthless world where ambition is currency, betrayal is strategy and winning is everything.
