Prince Harry And William’s Feud Could Finally Be Turning — Body Language Expert Spots A ‘Rare’ Sign Their Brotherly Bond May Still Be There

Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship has been scarred by years of bitterness, public revelations and a painful separation — yet experts believe there may still be something remarkably familiar beneath the fractured bond.

Harry’s return to Britain has inevitably reignited speculation about whether the estranged brothers could eventually find their way back to one another. And according to body language expert Judi James, there are signs that their connection may never have disappeared completely.

She believes the brothers still display subtle “body language cues and subliminal rituals” suggesting a “synchronicity of spirit” built over decades.

“These two men have shared unique moments and experiences and forged the strongest of bonds as they have done so,” Ms James told the Daily Mail.

“It’s possible that no one will ever understand them as well as they do each other.”

The Moment Harry Fell Back Into His Old Role

One of the clearest examples came after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

As Harry, Meghan, William and Kate appeared together outside Windsor Castle to view the sea of flowers left for the late monarch, Harry appeared to show a striking level of consideration towards his brother.

Ms James said Harry demonstrated a “sense of respect” towards William despite the bitterness between them.

She pointed to the moment Harry appeared to slow his own pace so William and Kate could move ahead and take in the flowers in front of the crowds.

Harry also appeared to crouch down and study the flowers, which Ms James interpreted as a way of signalling to Meghan that he was not ready to move on yet.

“Harry’s ego was fatally stung by the ‘Spare’ tag but when he and William have been seen together in public he seems, despite all the bitterness, to quickly and naturally revert to his role as William’s ‘wing man’,” she said.

“It’s as though the royal clockwork is still whirring away as well-oiled as ever, with all its protocols and ingrained sense of teamwork.”

For Ms James, that instinctive choreography is significant because it appeared after years of division and recrimination.

Their Mirroring Has Never Really Gone Away

The expert also highlighted what she described as “enduring mirroring” between the brothers.

According to Ms James, Harry and William have displayed this tendency since their late teenage years, when their similarities helped define them as a close double act.

Even after their relationship deteriorated, she said the instinct appeared to remain.

The brothers were seen walking with “unified step and posture” and, at points, standing in almost identical poses with their heads bowed and hands clasped in front of their bodies.

Even when separated from one another while greeting crowds from opposite sides of the road, Ms James noted that both men appeared to use the same self-soothing gesture, placing a hand across their stomach.

At another moment, they were seen crouching in similar positions while their wives stood nearby.

For Ms James, those repeated gestures offer a possible glimpse of a bond that has survived despite everything that has happened.

Could Diana’s Legacy Bring Them Back Together?

The brothers have also long been linked by their shared determination to honour their late mother, Princess Diana.

In Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand recounted comments from a friend of Harry who claimed that carrying on Diana’s legacy remained an important priority for both brothers.

“Both brothers are deeply devoted to carrying on their mother’s legacy and no amount of hurt feelings would ever get in the way of that,” the source said, according to the Independent.

The same source claimed that neither brother would want to pursue that legacy without the other.

Their different approaches were visible, however, at the 2021 unveiling of Diana’s statue in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

The brothers came together to mark what would have been their mother’s 60th birthday, unveiling the sculpture created by Ian Rank-Broadley in the gardens Diana had loved.

But the event was kept private amid the strained relationship between the brothers, with Meghan remaining in California with Archie and newborn Lilibet.

The Queen’s Funeral Offered Another Glimpse

There were further moments of apparent unity following Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

At her funeral at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, William was seen helping Harry and Meghan move past his family to their seats before the committal service.

The brothers had also walked together behind the Queen’s coffin during the procession to Westminster Hall the previous week.

Their appearances alongside their wives led some royal watchers to believe that the so-called “Fab Four” could finally be moving towards reconciliation.

But the optimism proved short-lived.

Veteran royal correspondent Robert Jobson later described the idea that the walkabout had sparked a genuine rapprochement as an “illusion” in his 2023 book Our King.

The joint appearances ultimately became the final time Harry, William, Meghan and Kate were seen together publicly.

‘There Is Communication Between Them’

Yet Harry’s latest return to Britain has once again raised hopes that the story may not be finished.

A friend previously told the Daily Mail: “It’s too soon now but there is a hope and a belief that one day they will appear in public together and that will completely change the narrative. There is communication between them.”

The source also claimed Harry had been in a very difficult place around the time he decided to leave Britain, adding that he had “grown up a lot” and that becoming a father had changed him.

Another source offered a similarly cautious assessment: “There is a bit of optimism that we might be starting to see a change in sentiment about Harry. It’s one step at a time.”

That hardly amounts to a royal reconciliation. But after years in which the brothers have appeared increasingly distant, the possibility that their old instincts — and the bond forged long before Megxit — could still surface makes Harry’s return to Britain all the more significant.
