‘Real reason’ Meghan Markle shares more pictures of Archie and Lilibet after UK return

Meghan Markle has been giving followers a closer glimpse into family life since returning to the UK, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet featuring more prominently in her recent Instagram posts.
The Duchess of Sussex shared two videos within the space of a week, offering rare looks at her children as the family adjusts to life in Britain. The timing has prompted one royal commentator to suggest the children now play a more important role in how Meghan presents her public image.
Meghan gives followers a glimpse of family life

The first video, posted last weekend, showed the family enjoying time in the UK after relocating in August. Among the clips were moments of Archie and Lilibet cycling, running and fishing together on a lake.
A few days later, on Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday, Meghan posted another video featuring photographs of the couple with their children, including images from a ski holiday and moments from the summer.
Meghan has previously shared photographs and videos of Archie and Lilibet, although she has generally taken care to keep their faces out of view.
Royal commentator Allison Boshoff believes the recent appearances of the children are connected to the way Meghan is presenting herself online.
Speaking on The Royalist podcast, Boshoff said the children had become “an integral part” of how Meghan presents herself because she is positioning herself as a mother and homemaker.
She added that including the children was part of the social-media approach used by many influencers in the same space.

Since the family’s return to the UK, Meghan is believed to have kept a relatively low profile while focusing on helping Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, settle into their new surroundings.
The move represents a significant change for both children after spending much of their lives in California. The family is believed to be renting a private home outside London.
Their adjustment to British life has also involved an unexpected change to their education.
Just two days after Archie and Lilibet began attending their first UK school, the couple decided to move them to another school following discussions with their security team about the practicalities of the daily journey. The decision was not described as a reflection on the original school or its staff.
Reports indicated that concerns included the distance, heavy traffic and difficulties involved in keeping the family’s vehicles together during the school run. The children subsequently began at a new school.
The school change came as Harry and Meghan’s security arrangements were also being reviewed following their return to Britain.
The couple moved back to the UK after six years in California, but they have not resumed their former roles as working members of the Royal Family. Their return has instead centred on establishing a new routine for themselves and their children while living as private individuals.
Against that backdrop, Meghan’s recent family-focused posts offer an unusually personal look at the Sussexes’ new chapter in Britain — while also putting Archie and Lilibet more visibly at the heart of her online presence.
