Meghan Markle Reportedly Turns to Reformer Pilates as She Settles Into Life in the UK

Meghan Markle is reportedly building a new routine around reformer Pilates as she settles into life in the Cotswolds following her return to Britain with Prince Harry and their children.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, is said to have become a regular at reformer Pilates sessions held inside the Wellness Barn at Soho Farmhouse, an exclusive private members’ club in Oxfordshire. According to a source quoted by The Sun, Meghan has been attending the classes in recent weeks and has taken a liking to the combination of exercise, relaxation and socializing.
A source said Meghan “absolutely loves reformer pilates,” describing the classes as a way for her to unwind while meeting people in the area.
The insider also claimed that Meghan has become a regular at the Wellness Barn, where she is “chatty and polite.” Other attendees are said to give her space, with the setting described as particularly peaceful.
A new routine after a difficult start

The reported Pilates routine comes after a series of challenges surrounding the Sussexes’ return to the UK.
Meghan and Harry moved back to Britain last month with Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. Since then, the family has faced renewed attention over privacy and security, including the reported leak of Meghan’s personal phone number from a parents’ WhatsApp group connected to her children’s school.
The couple also withdrew Archie and Lilibet from their first school after only two days. Reports attributed the decision to security concerns surrounding the daily journey, including traffic and the practicalities of protecting the children during the school run.
The children have since started at another school, adding another adjustment for the family as they establish their new life in Britain.
Against that backdrop, the Pilates classes appear to have given Meghan a more private way to maintain a familiar wellness routine while getting to know people in her new surroundings. The Sun reported that she has been attending the sessions regularly over the past few weeks.
Inside Soho Farmhouse’s Wellness Barn

Reformer Pilates is performed using specialized equipment with a sliding platform and springs. The workout is associated with full-body strength, improved posture and concentration, as well as stress reduction.
Soho Farmhouse itself offers a dedicated Pilates studio with reformer and tower classes, alongside private sessions.
Membership at the Oxfordshire club costs £4,500 a year and provides access to more than 50 clubs around the world, according to the original report.
The private setting may also offer Meghan a degree of separation from the intense public attention that has accompanied the Sussexes’ return.
Meghan has previously embraced wellness

The reported new hobby is not entirely unfamiliar territory for Meghan.
She has previously shared photographs of herself in yoga poses online, making Pilates a natural addition to the wellness-focused activities associated with her public image.
The latest reports suggest that, rather than simply exercising, Meghan is also using the classes as an opportunity to establish connections in the area.
That social element may be particularly relevant as the Sussexes adjust to life in the Cotswolds after spending several years in California.
A glimpse of Meghan’s new life in the Cotswolds
Meghan has also reportedly begun exploring her new surroundings beyond the private club.
HELLO! recently reported that she was spotted at the Falkland Arms in Great Tew, an Oxfordshire pub that featured in MobLand. She was reportedly enjoying a fish and chip lunch with friends from the United States.
The sighting came only weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became residents of the Cotswolds, suggesting that Meghan is gradually finding familiar ways to socialize while becoming acquainted with the area.
Her reported Pilates routine and local outings offer small glimpses into a quieter side of the Sussexes’ return to Britain. At the same time, the family continues to navigate the practical challenges of school, privacy and security that have accompanied their move.
For Meghan, reformer Pilates now appears to be becoming part of that new routine — offering both exercise and a chance to build a sense of community as she settles into her new surroundings.
