The family of a Texas multi-millionaire tech entrepreneur who tragically perished in a devastating plane crash along with his wife and children have released a heartbreaking statement. Adam Robinson, 45, his wife Helen Sharp, 40, and their two children, Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, have been confirmed as victims of the fatal plane crash in Florida on Sunday (November 1).
The remaining victims have been identified as the couple’s close friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, along with their children’s nanny, Anita Maria Apellido Cetina.
The private jet plummeted into a South Florida neighbourhood and burst into flames, claiming the lives of all nine people on board. In addition to the seven passengers, it is believed that two crew members were also aboard, reportedly including a pilot and a 20-year-old co-pilot.
Robinson’s family paid tribute to the “devoted parents”, saying the two young children “were the light of their lives.”, reports the Daily Star.

The statement read: “Adam and Helen were devoted parents, and Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were the light of their lives. Helen and Adam were the love affair that will last forever. Their warmth, generosity and gift for making people feel welcome touched so many lives.
“Anita Maria cared for Emma and Charlie with tenderness and devotion, and she was truly part of the family. She showed us a legacy of unconditional love and devotion.”
The collision took place at approximately 12.50pm local time during the flight from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. Authorities are working to establish the cause of the aircraft disaster as they examine the role of co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.

The 20-year-old was named earlier today (November 2) as the co-pilot on board alongside Jeff Gregory, who TMZ identified as the 55-year-old pilot.
Filgueiras was heard in recordings now circulating widely across social media, as her family disclosed she had warned her boyfriend that the aircraft had encountered “turbulence” in a text message.
Her mother Camila Corteleti told the New York Post and New York Times that her daughter was the co-pilot aboard the Learjet. Camila’s husband, Thiago Corteleti, revealed to the New York Post that Filgueiras had sent just six words to her boyfriend, named as Justin.
He confirmed the message, dispatched 10 minutes prior to the crash, read: “I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice.'” The pilot reported ice was building up on the aircraft and that turbulence was causing it to shift by as much as 700 feet (213 metres), based on air traffic control recordings obtained by LiveATC. net.

“We have light, clear ice that is manageable and moderate turbulence,” the pilot informed controllers.
The circumstances quickly worsened. The pilot sought authorisation to ascend another 2,000 feet then swiftly declared an emergency as the aircraft lost height at a concerning speed. The aircraft banked sharply to the right before crashing and exploding. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis confirmed there were no immediate reports of anyone on the ground injured or killed.
