10-Year-Old Fan Steals The Spotlight After Lainey Wilson Turns A Concert Dream Into An Unforgettable Country Music Memory

Lainey Wilson

A young Lainey Wilson fan got her moment in the spotlight when the country star invited her to sing “4x4xU” with her.

On August 1, Wilson performed at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati as a special guest on Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show. During the concert, she ended up running into one of her biggest fans.

10-year-old Rylee Clark was standing in the front row with her mom, Casey, watching Wilson perform one song after another.

Rylee was born with spina bifida, a condition where the spinal cord doesn’t develop properly before birth, according to the Mayo Clinic.

“She was born with spina bifida, but it doesn’t stop her, especially with her attitude and her positiveness,” Rylees mom told WLWT5.

This was Rylee’s first time seeing Wilson live, so she took a chance and brought a sign with her that read “This is my first concert I want to sing 4X4XU with you.”

And it worked! Rylee was picked as Wilson’s “Cowgirl of the Night,” which is something she’s been doing at every stop on her tour. It’s a sweet tradition where she invites one lucky young fan onstage to share a special moment with her.

“It’s your time to shine. Want to say hi to everybody?” Wilson said to Rylee.

“Hey y’all!” Rylee said into the microphone.

Lainey and Rylee then sang “4x4xU” together, and Rylee immediately showed she was a natural. She knew every single word and didn’t miss a beat.

Casey later shared more photos and videos from the unforgettable night on her Facebook page.

“Well i guess I can share the rest of our concert experience. Words cant describe last night, other than unforgettable,” she wrote. “Im so glad I got to be there with her. Watching her live out her best life is the best”

Lainey still has plenty of shows left in 2026. Her next performance is on Thursday, August 6, at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN. From there, she’ll be making stops all across the country, with her final scheduled show of the year set for October 10.

We can’t wait to see what other sweet moments happen on the rest of her tour, and how many more young fans get to have their dreams come true!
