WNBA Rookie of the YearCaitlin Clark is making headlines this week after her much-anticipated appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’sNew Heights podcast.
The Iowa native, known for her record-breaking basketball career and die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fandom, shared her dream of attending a Chiefs playoff game, and hinted at an even bigger wish: meeting Taylor Swift.
Caitlin’s Arrowhead wish could happen soon
Clark, who has supported the Chiefs long before their Super Bowl dominance, expressed her excitement for the team’s postseason run.
“I was there before Patrick and Travis,” she told the Kelce brothers.
“We were ride or die.”
Although she hasn’t attended a game at Arrowhead Stadium this season, Clark hopes to change that soon, with Kansas City hosting its first playoff game in the Divisional Round on Jan. 18 or 19.
“Hopefully I can make it to a Chiefs game here soon,” she teased.
“Maybe a playoff game or something.”
Travis, whose relationship with Taylor Swift has been in the spotlight since 2023, extended a personal invitation to the Fever star.
“We at least got one at Arrowhead, but you’re invited to them all,” the Chiefs tight end declared.
Clark’s Chiefs fandom runs deep.
She revealed on the podcast that she’s made it a tradition to attend one NFL game per year with her Kansas City-based cousins.
However, she missed the team’s Christmas Day game in Pittsburgh this season, making the upcoming playoff game a prime opportunity to make up for it.
But it’s not just the football that has Clark excited.
The Indiana Fever guard, who opted to rest during the offseason instead of playing in the new Unrivaled basketball league, is also a devoted Taylor Swift fan.
Having attended the Eras Tour three times, Clark even managed to convert her mom into a “full-fledged Swiftie.”
Could Clark’s dream of meeting Swift come true during a Chiefs playoff game?
With Kelce’s invitation and Swift’s recent appearances at Arrowhead, fans are eager to see if this crossover becomes a reality.
For now, Clark is keeping her schedule open and her odds are extremely high.
