A three-minute trailer for the upcoming I’m A Celebrity All Stars series was released on Monday – giving viewers a first glimpse of all the drama to come in South Africa.

The second series of the ITV spin-off, which features some of the show’s most memorable campmates, is set to launch on Monday, April 6.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will join the returning stars in the South African jungle for some of the biggest trials in I’m A Celebrity… history.

The new trailer saw the likes of Gemma Collins, Harry Redknapp and David Haye take on a series of terrifying trials.

Former TOWIE star Gemma, 45, was seen sobbing, saying ‘it feels like you’re trying to kill me’ as she spoke in the Bush Telegraph after a tough day.

David, 45, also flashes his bum in the shower in another shocking scene as Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts accidentally walks in on him and screams: ‘What a lovely morning surprise!’

The trials and challenged look tough this year as Mo Farah is seen screaming as he is dropped into camp from a helicopter.

After watching the celebrities navigate camp life, viewers will get to cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast directly from London.

Last week Ant and Dec lifted the lid on the behind-the-scenes of a record-breaking five hour eating trial on I’m A Celeb All Stars.

At the star-studded launch for the ITV show, Ant and Dec, both 50, teased what’s to come, including more ‘drama and arguments’ than ever seen before.

Ant said: ‘The trials are physically bigger, and they are tougher than we have seen before because we have to really test them… we have made it tougher than ever.

‘We start off on a huge balancing board, hanging off the side of a cliff – we strap the celebrities together, and they are on this board which is going backwards and forwards… then a full-size train set that the celebrities are in.’

Dec added: ‘They didn’t realise what was about to hit them, definitely not… It all dawns on them pretty quickly that it was a different level.

‘There’s another one where the celebrities are 140ft in the air where they go head-to-head with another celebrity. There’s a 50ft game of Snakes & Ladders.

‘And of course, the regular creepy crawlies, snakes, all sorts of South African critters. We do have penises, anus, and lots of genitalia from other animals.

‘One trial took so long – an eating trial – I think it is now on record as the longest trial ever. It was about five hours long.

‘Two of the campmates were sitting in the bleachers at the back who weren’t involved in the trial, but they were watching, and they were falling asleep.

‘It was brilliant, the portion sizes were brilliant, the biggest we have ever had before.’

Dec added of the changes to the upcoming show return: ‘Last time round it was all on tape but this time round we are doing a live final here.

‘The public didn’t get a chance to have a say but this time they do. The very end of the series will be live – and ultimately the public will decide who will be named the I’m A Celebrity legend.

‘It’s happening here in the UK live on the TV.’

Ant chimed in to explain: ‘We’ll bring the whole cast back and have the finalists live in the studio and it’ll be a live vote like we do in Australia and the public will decide their legend!’

Dec added: ‘There’s a lot of drama – without giving too much away.

‘It’s up and down and you will witness arguments and things that we haven’t seen on I’m A Celeb Australia for a little while. It’s a must watch!’

The likes of Helen Flanagan, Joe Swash and Shaun Ryder took part three years ago when the spin-off series first launched.

But it was Myleene Klass who got to the top spot, shortly followed by Jordan Banjo in second place, and Fatima Whitbread in third.

I’m A Celebrity…South Africa starts Monday, April 6, at 9pm on ITV1 and airs every weeknight (Mon-Fri).
