He’s a chip off the old block.

Like mother, like son.

On the Nov. 27 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the Grammy winner shared a video of her son, Remy, 8, warming up the audience before the show by singing Frank Sinatra’s classic “My Way.”

“I planned each charted course/ Each careful step along the byway/ And more, much more than this/ I did it my way,” he sang while Clarkson’s band backed him up and the audience, including Clarkson’s daughter, River, 10, cheered him on.

Clarkson, who shares both kids with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, was a proud mother afterward.

“(He) just walked right in today and said, ‘Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?’ I said, ‘OK, sir,’” she joked. “They’re so fun. I love my kids so much.”

This isn’t the first time one of Clarkson’s kids has shown off the pipes that run in the family. River contributed to her mother’s song “You Don’t Make Me Cry,” from the deluxe version of Clarkson’s 2023 album, “Chemistry.”

“We just loved it and it fit in with the record and she came into the studio and said, ‘Can I sing?’” Clarkson told the 3rd hour of TODAY last year as part of the Citi Concert Series. “And so my producer just took my vocal off completely and just let her sing on the track and she’s just on the whole track. It’s so cute.”

The “Since U Been Gone” singer isn’t necessarily counting on her kids following in her footsteps into the music business, though.

“I’m not going to not push,” she said.

“I’m a parent, whatever you want to do. It’s hard for me to sit here and go ‘don’t do this, it’s a hard industry’ because I’m in it. I do think kids that grow up in it, it’s hard for them not to be inspired by it or want to be a part of it. So I kind of understand that if they do, but also, like, be a teacher or a doctor or anything else.”

Clarkson also brought her kids onstage with her to perform at a concert in 2023.

“It was the most magical thing to be onstage,” she told TODAY last year during the same Citi Concert Series appearance, noting they both “had so much fun.”

Clarkson also joked the kids looked at her like “I was Thor.”

“I felt like I was a superhero to (them). It was the most magical feeling as a parent that they look at you in that way,” she added.
