He will reportedly join the institution in the fall, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle. Now, according to a source, the dynamics in Wales will change after George shifts to the boarding school.

According to Star, Prince George’s attending boarding school will shake up the family dynamics of Prince William and Kate Middleton. “This is going to be a huge change as far as the family dynamics go because George has always been the leader of the pack,” the source said.

The source continued, “He’s a very protective big brother and spent a lot of time teaching Louis everything from cricket to rock climbing and, of course, football.”

They added, “Having him gone is going to create a huge absence.” The source shared that everyone will miss George terribly.” However, “William and Kate are trying to focus on the positives.” Thus, “it will mean Charlotte and Louis will get more one-on-one time, which they will love.”

The source also explained, “There’ll be more expected of them around the house because now George’s chores will need to be covered.” As such, “this will be a chance for them to step up in their own ways.”

The school is reportedly less than 10 miles from the Prince and Princess of Wales’s home. “George will be back home very regularly, so it’s not as though he’s disappearing forever,” the source said. However, “it’ll definitely take some getting used to.” Moreover, Princess Charlotte is allegedly aware of how her mother is feeling about all of this.

“Charlotte’s very in tune with Kate, so she’s especially aware that this is a hard transition for her mother, ” the source stated. Thus, “by all accounts she’s already doing everything she can think of to help comfort her.” The source continued, “She’s very thoughtful that way.”
