“Following the untimely death of Mica Miller, unfounded rumors and false accusations began circulating on social media and in various media outlets, suggesting Pastor Miller’s involvement in her demise,” the statement said.

JP has pleaded not guilty to separate federal charges

The story did not end with the investigation into Mica’s death.

According to the report, JP was later indicted on federal counts involving cyberstalking and allegedly making false statements to investigators.

The allegations relate to claims that he sent unwanted and harassing communications to his estranged wife beginning in November 2022 and continuing until her death.

JP has pleaded not guilty.
