Lindsey Vonn shows off gnarly leg surgery scar as Winter Olympics star gets back to rehab
LINDSEY Vonn revealed a brutal leg surgery scar as she rehabs from her devastating Winter Olympics crash.
The decorated US skier is progressing in her recovery close to two months from her disaster crash at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.
Vonn suffered a complex tibia due to her downhill crash just seconds into her race at the Milan Cortina Games.
Her appearance came just days after tearing her ACL.
Vonn was then airlifted to a nearby hospital after the accident and had to undergo three surgeries before she could return to the U.S.
The 41-year-old has consistently updated her fans about her condition.

On Wednesday, Vonn posted an update on her Instagram story, taking a selfie after a workout session.
Days after being spotted in a wheelchair at the Los Angeles airport, Vonn showed herself standing as she wrote, “Standing when I’m allowed [laughing emoji]. Never miss my rehab.”
Vonn also showed a leg surgery scar in the process.
She then made a post following the workout, admitting in her caption that she is still not 100 percent but that she’s slowly recovering.
“Not quite me but getting there….” Vonn wrote, along with the hashtag #stepbystep.”
The iconic Winter Olympian stunningly returned to train just four weeks after her horrific leg break.
Then, Vonn was spotted whizzing around on an electric scooter in March.
She is optimistic that her sixth surgery will be her last ahead of a potential return.
Vonn is also set to speak at the 2026 commencement ceremony of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism on May 15.
