A Cunning Secret That Sent Bee Gees Fans Into a Frenzy Was Revealed by Barry Gibb. He Jokingly Admitted That, While Surrounded by a Legion of Daleks, He and His Beloved Linda Had Once Shared a Passionate Moment Inside the Doctor Who Tardis. Imagine the Flashing Lights, the Eerie Metallic Voices Screaming “Exterminate!”—and Yet, in That Chaos, Love Found Its Own Timeless Adventure. Was It the Thrill of the Sci-Fi Setting or Just the Magic of Their Unbreakable Bond? Either Way, the Revelation Left the World Grinning, Wondering if Even Time Lords Could Match the Romance of the Last Surviving Gibb.

Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb has hinted he and wife Linda Gray once romped in Doctor Who’s Tardis.

The singer met the then-beauty queen when his band performed on Top of The Pops in 1967 – with the night ending with the pair grabbing some alone time in the famous blue phone box from the BBC series.

Barry, 74, admitted he was immediately smitten with Linda and they escaped the crowd at the music studio and stumbled on the set of Doctor Who.

Revealing how things then took a very steamy turn, Barry said: “She was the hostess for one week, the week Massachusetts was No1. And she’d never heard of it.

Elsewhere in his interview, Barry spoke about his friendship with the late Michael Jackson and said he was relieved to have never experienced his level of fame.

Barry is the last remaining Bee Gees brother who continues to fly the flag for the group’s decade-spanning music career.

They formed in 1958 and were prominent figures in the disco music era in the 1970s.

Barry Gibb and Linda have been married for 50 years

“We just saw each other across the room and something happened. And, um, we had a bit of a cuddle in Doctor Who’s Tardis, surrounded by Daleks!” he confessed to the Sun.

The Tardis is the space-time machine famously used by the Doctor in the BBC science-fiction series.

While it resembles a 1950’s London police box on the outside, the Tardis’ interiors are said to contain an infinite number of rooms and allow the Time Lord to travel to any point in history.

The series began in 1963 – four years before Barry and Linda’s on-set escapades.

The couple went on to marry in 1970, celebrating their milestone 50th wedding anniversary last year.

They have five children between them; Stephen, 47, Ashley, 43, Travis, 39, and Michael, 36, and daughter Alexandra, 29, and seven grandchildren.
