It’s always thrilling when you find a new gripping series to watch, and a particular Netflix offering has left viewers totally captivated. In fact, many have admitted they thought it was so good that they’ve binged all 34 episodes within days of starting it.
The Netflix show was recently brought to people’s attention on Reddit after somebody was looking for TV recommendations, and it’s fair to say people raved about a certain series, which can now be streamed on the platform. Indeed, countless people admitted it left them hooked, as they were simply unable to stop watching it once they’d tuned in.
It’s not the only show to have grabbed people’s attention either. Previously, it was reported viewers were also glued to their screens to watch a different offering too.
A social media user wrote: “What’s a Netflix series you finished in a weekend and immediately wished you could watch again for the first time? The kind of show where you blew through the whole thing way too fast, hit the end and felt that specific emptiness of ‘well, now what?’

“Not just bingeable, genuinely good enough that you envy anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. What’s the series, and what made it impossible to pace yourself with?”
The question quickly got people talking, and many were fast to recommend one show in particular. One person wrote: “Travelers.”
Another replied: “I’m glad I’m not the only one that also picked this series.” A third noted: “I always answer Travelers! What a great show. The end just about killed me.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I’ve watched Travelers three or four times over the years. Every time I catch something new.”
Elsewhere, someone else also said: “I LOVE this show. Binged it twice through.”
Clearly, the show has been a hit with many people. Indeed, several admitted it’s a series worth adding to your watch-list.
What’s it about?
If you haven’t seen it before, Travelers is a science fiction television series created by Brad Wright. It boasts an impressive cast, including the likes of Eric McCormack, Mackenzie Porter, Jared Abrahamson, Nesta Cooper, Reilly Dolman and Patrick Gilmore.
The initial two series were co-produced by Netflix and Canadian specialty channel, Showcase. Following the second season, Netflix became the sole commissioning broadcaster and worldwide distributor.
It has quite an interesting plot too. The show is basically set in a post-apocalyptic future, where thousands of special operatives work to try and prevent the collapse of society. These operatives are labelled the “travelers”.
However, there’s a twist, as their consciousnesses are transported back in time and transferred into the “host” bodies of present-day individuals who face the prospect of death. This leads to reducing the unexpected impact on the future.
Though the show came to an end a few years ago, it is still extremely popular today. Some are only now starting to discover it, and they’ve been left hooked.
