Nyjah Music and Zyah Rhythm’s “Heartbeat” Audition Leaves Simon Cowell and Fans Completely Captivated

America’s Got Talent Season 21 delivered another unforgettable audition when teenage brothers Nyjah Music, 16, and Zyah Rhythm, 15, stepped onto the stage and performed an original song that immediately caught the judges’ attention.

The brothers, who come from Oahu, Hawaii, already have music in their names — Music and Rhythm are their legal middle names — but their audition proved their talent is far more than a clever family connection.

Rather than choosing a familiar cover, the siblings took a major risk with their own original song, “Heartbeat.”

And within moments, the atmosphere inside the AGT auditorium changed.

Their tight vocal harmonies and effortless chemistry instantly separated them from a typical teenage audition. Howie Mandel compared their infectious energy to former AGT winner Grace VanderWaal, while Sofia Vergara said their performance felt like “heaven” on the stage.

Even though Mel B admitted the song itself was not completely her taste, she could not deny the quality of their voices and the way their harmonies blended together.

Simon Cowell ultimately gave the brothers the validation they were hoping for — and, alongside the other judges, helped deliver four enthusiastic yes votes and send them through.

And they already have an impressive musical credit to their name. Before appearing on AGT, the brothers recorded a version of Elvis Presley’s “Burning Love” for the 2025 live-action Lilo & Stitch soundtrack, with their famous uncle involved in the production.

Their rise began online, where their covers of traditional Hawaiian mele helped them build an audience on TikTok and Instagram.

Now, they have taken that journey to one of the biggest talent stages in the world.
