Brianna Cameron Impresses Kelly Clarkson With Powerful Performance on The Voice
Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson continued coaching the contestants through rehearsals, encouraging them to rein in unnecessary vocal flourishes and focus on improving their timing.
Both performers proved receptive to the feedback, but Brianna Cameron stood out for her ability to absorb the guidance and put it into practice. Despite her young age, Cameron already has an impressive résumé, including a role on Broadway and a guest appearance on Queen Latifah’s drama series, The Equalizer.
Brianna Cameron Shines During The Voice Battle Round
All that preparation paid off when Cameron and her competitor, Saade, took the stage for their Battle Round performance. The performance earned praise from all four coaches, although Cameron ultimately emerged as the standout.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine described the performance as “really fun” and was particularly astonished by Cameron’s abilities.
“It’s bonkers what people can do at age,” he remarked.

Levine also acknowledged that Saade made a mistake during the performance, but praised her for recovering and continuing through the song.
Queen Latifah was equally impressed with the pair’s energy and praised Saade’s stage presence. However, Cameron’s vocal ability ultimately captured her attention.
“I don’t even know how you perform a song like this with that kind of depth,” Latifah marveled.
Country singer Riley Green also commended both contestants for taking on the challenge, admitting that he had “a lot of fun” watching them perform.
Kelly Clarkson Makes Her Decision
The final decision rested with Clarkson, who praised the chemistry between the two singers, saying they had “locked in” throughout the performance.
She also applauded Saade for refusing to let one difficult moment derail the entire song. Nevertheless, it was Cameron’s “insane” voice that ultimately secured her place in the competition.
After making her decision, Clarkson explained why the teenager had won her over.
“She gets better on stage and under the pressure and under the lights,” Clarkson told the cameras. “She honestly just exudes so much joy… It’s magical to watch and it’s inspiring, honestly.”
Although Saade’s journey on the show came to an end, Clarkson made a point of offering her some encouragement, promising the eliminated contestant, “We’ll talk soon.”
The Voice airs Mondays on NBC.
