Harlan Coben’s New Netflix Thriller Has Overtaken Bridgerton

Netflix’s latest All-Time Top 10 ranking has a new surprise: I Will Find You, the mystery thriller from bestselling author Harlan Coben, has officially moved ahead of Bridgerton.

Since premiering on June 18, the limited series has drawn remarkable audiences, quickly establishing itself as the biggest new Netflix show of 2026 and the platform’s biggest hit since Stranger Things 5. Its performance has now earned another notable distinction, as the series continues climbing Netflix’s list of its most popular English-language shows of all time.

I Will Find You Moves Past Bridgerton

I Will Find You is the second series based on Harlan Coben’s work to enter Netflix’s All-Time Top 10. The first was Fool Me Once, which reached the ranking in 2024.

This time, however, Coben’s latest series has done more than simply join the list. It has continued climbing, overtaking one of Netflix’s biggest romance franchises along the way.

As of August 25, I Will Find You sits at No. 7 on Netflix’s All-Time Top 10 for English-language shows. It has accumulated 115.4 million views and 632.8 million hours viewed, enough to move ahead of Bridgerton season 1.

That puts the thriller above both Bridgerton seasons currently featured on the ranking.

Bridgerton season 1 is now No. 8, with 113.3 million views and 929.3 million hours viewed. Season 3 occupies the No. 10 spot with 106 million views and 846.5 million hours viewed.

Netflix determines its All-Time Top 10 rankings based on the number of views a title receives during the first 91 days after its release.

There’s Still Time for Coben’s Series to Climb Higher

The most interesting part of I Will Find You’s run may be that its tracking period is not over yet.

Because the series premiered on June 18, it can continue accumulating views for the All-Time Top 10 through at least September 17. Although its momentum has slowed as summer has drawn to a close, the show remains a strong performer on Netflix’s Global Top 10.

During the week of August 17-23, I Will Find You added another 2.5 million views.

That continued audience could be enough to push the series even higher on the all-time ranking.

Could I Will Find You Reach No. 6?

The next title in Coben’s sights is DAHMER: Monster — The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which currently holds the No. 6 position.

The gap is extremely narrow. The first season of the anthology series finished its 91-day period with 115.6 million views, only 0.2 million more than I Will Find You has already accumulated with weeks still remaining.

If the thriller maintains even part of its current momentum, overtaking Monster appears highly likely. That would put I Will Find You at No. 6 on Netflix’s All-Time Top 10.

Moving beyond that point will be considerably more difficult.

Wednesday Season 2 Is the Next Major Challenge

At No. 5 is Wednesday season 2, which has recorded 119.3 million views.

That means I Will Find You would need several million additional views to move into the fifth spot. With its 91-day tracking period nearing its conclusion, there is still a possibility, but the climb will be much harder than its move past Bridgerton.

If Coben’s thriller manages to overtake Wednesday season 2, it would mark an especially significant achievement. Wednesday has remained ahead of the competition since Stranger Things became the last series to surpass it.

For now, I Will Find You has already secured an impressive place among Netflix’s biggest English-language hits. It has surpassed Bridgerton, is within striking distance of DAHMER: Monster — The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and still has time to see how high its 2026 breakout run can go.
