ALISON HAMMOND RULES OUT WEDDING BELLS WITH TOYBOY PARTNER — “SOME MAN OWNING ME? IT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!”

Alison Hammond may be happier than ever with her younger partner, but the Bake Off presenter has made one thing very clear: she has no intention of rushing down the aisle.

The 51-year-old has been dating Russian model David Putman, 29, for three years, and the couple appear to be thoroughly enjoying their relationship — despite their 22-year age gap.

Alison admits she could potentially see herself getting engaged one day. Marriage, however, is another matter entirely.

“I might get engaged, but some man owning me? It’s not gonna happen!” she said defiantly.

For Alison, the idea of marriage feels too “archaic”, particularly when it comes with the notion that she should somehow belong to another person.

She also opened up about just how happy she is with David, revealing that their relationship feels refreshingly easy compared with her previous romances.

“I’ve always had issues with my boyfriends, this one I don’t,” Alison said. “We get on really well. We love each other. I never have to worry and second-guess how he feels about me. He’s wonderful.”

The couple first met after Alison booked David for a massage treatment, and she now jokes that their age difference rarely feels apparent.

Despite being 22 years younger, Alison says David doesn’t behave like someone in his twenties — insisting that he feels more like he is 55.

“We’re having a lovely time, lovely holidays. We’re kissing a lot. I’m having a lot of massages. He’s got healing hands,” she said.

There is one major difference they may eventually have to navigate.

Alison believes David may want children one day, something she says she cannot give him. But rather than trying to hold him back, she insists she would not stop him from pursuing that path if it is what he ultimately wants.

The presenter has previously addressed criticism over their age gap, making it clear that other people’s opinions do not concern her.

“It’s nothing to do with anyone else,” she said in July. “Yeah, people are going to talk. People do. But that’s their business, not mine.”

Away from her love life, Alison is also embracing getting older on her own terms.

She has been exercising regularly but admits that working on Bake Off makes resisting sweet treats particularly difficult.

“I’m exercising, but look, I’ve also been smashing that cake!” she joked.

Her personal trainer has apparently been waiting for her return to a stricter routine, but Alison remains remarkably relaxed about ageing.

“I feel like I’m ageing backwards,” she said, adding that her skin is better now than when she was younger.

“I’ve never had Botox or fillers, either — but never say never.”

For Alison, growing older is something to celebrate rather than fear.

“Ageing doesn’t bother me. It’s a privilege,” she said, praising women such as Pamela Anderson for choosing to embrace the process naturally.
