Meghan Markle has enraged royal fans after one move she made at a gala in Canada on Friday. The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry stepped out in Victoria, Canada, for the David Foster Foundation’s star-studded 40th anniversary gala.
Before the event, which was celebrating four decades of the David Foster Foundation that provides financial support to Canadian families whose children require life-saving organ transplants, Meghan and Harry posed for photographs together on the red carpet. They then posed for photographs with the founder of the foundation David Foster and his wife Katharine McPhee. The couples have been friends for years, with this friendship having grown stronger since The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to America in 2020.
However, when David and Katharine stepped on to the red carpet for photographs with Harry and Meghan, the duchess appeared to be telling the founder and his wife where to stand.
A video of the moment shows Meghan, who turned 45 this week, pointing and talking, with many believing she was telling them what to do.
This has enraged fans online, who think Meghan was wrong to have done this, especially to the host of the event.
One person wrote on X: “This is the most entitled person’s behaviour. She doesn’t know when to stop controlling.”
Someone else said: “Why is she directing them at their own event?”

Another person commented: “What is it with her and directing people on where to stand. I think it’s rude she is doing it to the host of the event.”
One person wrote: “Sorry, she is telling the host and his wife where to stand at their own event? Who the f**k does she think she is?”
Another added: “Placing herself in the CENTRE because she is the focus…”
