Fans issue Meghan Markle as 4-word message as she marks her birthday

Today marks Meghan Markle’s 45th birthday, and royal fans at Buckingham Palace have shared their birthday messages for the Duchess. Meghan will no doubt be spoiled by her loved ones, especially Prince Harry. The Duchess will likely spend the day in Montecito, California, where she lives with Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
It’s a boiling hot day outside the palace with tourists and Londoners bustling around, either taking pictures and admiring the home of the monarchy or rushing through the crowds to work. The Daily Express asked Brits and royal fans what they thought of the Sussexes and if they had any words they’d like to send across the pond for Meghan.

Karen Letch, who is visiting from Australia, said: “Happy birthday!” She had a genuine four-word message to the Duchess: “Good luck to her.”
Karen said that she is a big fan of Prince Harry and that her and her husband, Harry Bowman, love the monarchy.
She said: “Harry’s the rebel of the family, and we like him, we like a rebel. He should have stayed here.”
Karen adds: “I would like to see them come back to the Royal Family, and I would like to see their kids grow up with them all.
“I don’t think they would accept him back, but it would be great to see the kids come back.
“For the kids – it’s their heritage. I think King Charles is amazing but I think once William becomes King it will change the monarchy forever.”

Due to the couple’s ongoing feud with the royals, it is unclear if they will extend birthday wishes to Meghan.
The Sussexes have experienced a broken relationship with the royals over the past few years, especially since stepping down as working royals in 2020.
Sitting on the steps, admiring the view of the palace, are Dean Otten, Austin Woods and their young son, Henry Woods.
In an adorable message, young Henry Woods wished Meghan a happy birthday in both England and in German as his parents watched on proudly.
His mum, Dean, says: “I would like to see them come back, from a family point of view, it’s always nice. If there are irreconcilable differences, then it is better to stay apart, but sometimes you have to make that decision. I understand that people argue.
Austin adds: “Ultimately, everyone argues; families argue. I think they will eventually come back. Once William becomes King, I think they will be back. The monarchy is very important to the UK – it attracts a lot of people.”

As the crowds queue up for the best picture spot, Angel Morgello says: “I would have liked to have seen her be part of the Royal Family.”
Her friend, Kady Lenkay, says: “I think it’s just good for her, she did what she needed to do for her family.”
Eve Corlett, chimes in: “Around two years ago in America, a lot of people were really talking about her and her role in the monarchy.
“She was facing a lot of public scrutiny, so it’s good that she did what she needed to do to get away from that.”
A friend of the duchess has spoken out about how the former actress was planning to spend her special day.
They told Hello! magazine that Meghan wanted to enjoy “a chilled day surrounded by loved ones”.
