- The group, also referred to as Biko’s Manna and Mfundo, consists of singer Biko (17), guitar player Manna (14) and Mfundo (9).
- The trio was showered with praise after their performance. They have been touring the US and even appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Johannesburg sibling group Biko’s Manna received a standing ovation and a yes from all four judges after performing on America’s Got Talent (AGT).
The group, also referred to as Biko’s Manna and Mfundo, consists of singer Biko (17), guitar player Manna (14) and Mfundo (9).
They performed Don’t Worry Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin for the show’s auditions and got a very positive response from the judges and audience.
The viral sensation has garnered millions of likes on TikTok, along with a lot of engagement on other platforms. They were invited to audition on Season 19 of the show due to their popularity.
During the performance judge Simon Cowell could be heard saying, “I love them”.
“It was worth the trip coming all the way from South Africa… We love reggae, we don’t hear it enough… It puts us in a great mood I love the three of you,” said judge Heidi Klum.
Judge Howie Mandell said: “You are young and talented… It’s early in the competition, but I think there’s a good chance that you’re going to walk out of here with a million dollars.”
Judge Sofia Vergara said: “You guys are amazing, you guys are happy. We can tell that you’re a family that love each other and I really think the best thing you ever did was come to AGT.”

Cowell said after the performance: “Within 10 seconds, it’s like I know exactly the kind of music you want to make. You found your lane, it was beautifully simple.”
Speaking to Biko, Cowell said to her, “Your vocal by the way was spot on, absolutely amazing.”
The trio have been spending some time in the US doing shows and performing at festivals. They appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, with the host being a supporter of theirs.
