Prince Harry And King Charles Reportedly Fall Out After Heated Phone Call — Their Weekly Contact Has Now Stopped

Prince Harry and King Charles appeared to have made progress in rebuilding their relationship after the Duke returned to the UK — but that fragile peace has reportedly been shattered just days later.

The father and son are said to have spoken regularly by phone since Harry and Meghan returned to Britain, with their conversations reportedly focused on the children, Archie and Lilibet, their schooling and arrangements for seeing them.

But according to a royal insider, that direct contact has now come to an abrupt halt following a heated conversation sparked by the Palace’s latest intervention.

Harry And Charles’ Weekly Calls Have Stopped

The source claimed Charles had remained in “direct contact” with Harry since the Sussexes moved back to the UK, describing their weekly calls as largely warm and practical.

“They were nothing more than a typical exchange of pleasantries about the kids, their schooling and various logistics around seeing them,” the source said.

That reportedly changed after the publication of the letter sent on behalf of the King, which set out the Sussexes’ current position within the Royal Family.

According to the insider, the most recent call between Harry and his father became “heated”, leaving Charles unwilling to continue speaking directly to him for the time being.

The source claimed the King is now communicating with his son through advisers instead, saying Charles is not engaging with Harry directly until “cooler heads prevail”.

Palace Letter Triggered Fresh Tension

The reported breakdown comes after the Palace issued a strongly worded clarification to senior Government officials, military leaders, Lord Lieutenants and representatives for Harry and Meghan.

The letter stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain private citizens and do not represent the Royal Family. It also confirmed that their His and Her Royal Highness styles remain unavailable for use.

The intervention reportedly caught Harry and Meghan off guard, with their spokesperson saying they were “a little surprised not to have been told about this in advance”.

The Palace has disputed the suggestion that the couple were not warned, with reports indicating their team received the letter before its publication, although they were not consulted over its contents.
