Meghan Markle Announces First-Ever As Ever Advent Calendar Ahead of Christmas
Meghan Markle has officially begun her Christmas countdown with the launch of her first-ever Advent calendar, giving fans an early look at the festive product through a new newsletter and striking seasonal photograph.
With autumn settling in and Christmas approaching, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that the limited-edition calendar was created in collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés.
In the accompanying image, Meghan embraces the festive mood in a cream knitted jumper and forest-green skirt. She accessorised with a gold necklace and bracelet, while wearing the engagement ring Prince Harry gave her when he proposed.
The Advent calendar sits beside her, presented in a royal-blue outer box, while separate images reveal the darker boxes containing the individual chocolate treats.

Meghan Reveals The Christmas Release
Meghan shared details of the product ahead of its official release, announcing that pre-orders would open the following day.
“Created in collaboration with celebrated Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés, our limited-edition Advent Calendar arrives tomorrow for holiday pre-order,” she wrote.
She added that customers would be able to reserve the calendar for November delivery, describing the wait as part of the anticipation surrounding the festive season.
The launch marks another seasonal addition to Meghan’s As Ever brand and gives the Duchess a chance to combine her lifestyle business with one of her well-known personal interests: Christmas.

A Family Tradition Meghan Looks Forward To
Meghan has previously spoken openly about how much she enjoys the holiday season, particularly now that she can experience Christmas through the eyes of her children.
In a 2024 interview with Marie Claire, she described how her perspective on Christmas had changed as Archie and Lilibet grew older.
“At first, I think as a mum with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet,” she said. “But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”
Her comments highlighted the importance of creating Christmas memories with her children as they become old enough to understand and appreciate the traditions around them.

Meghan’s Christmas Eve Traditions
Meghan also offered a glimpse into her family’s celebrations in an As Ever newsletter last year.
She recalled spending Christmas Eve enjoying the leftovers from the family feast, which that year included dim sum, while also wrapping final presents.
She described quietly going downstairs with Harry to check that “Santa” had enjoyed his cookies and that the “reindeer” had eaten their carrots — all in an effort to preserve the magic of Christmas for their children.
The traditions may be simple, but Meghan has previously emphasised the importance of keeping that sense of wonder alive for Archie and Lilibet.
A Relaxed Christmas At Home

For Christmas Day itself, Meghan said she planned to spend the day surrounded by her family, with a deliberately relaxed approach to the celebrations.
Her plans included staying in pyjamas, playing games such as Scrabble and Sequence, with Candyland for the children, while music played and candles burned around the house.
She also described the atmosphere she hoped to create: family dogs sleeping nearby, food available throughout the day, plenty of laughter and conversation, and time to simply enjoy being together.
Meghan ended her festive message by extending Christmas wishes to readers regardless of how they were spending the holiday — whether with a large gathering, a partner, children or on their own.
Her first As Ever Advent calendar now adds another element to that Christmas-focused lifestyle, arriving as Meghan prepares to mark the festive season once again.
